Alot of you asked us, if we could supply some Tips&Tricks for working with the FELDHERR Foam Trays.

Our Answer: Normally you don't need them. The Foams are specially made to be easily usable. In most situations there isn't any work needed if you would like to use the Foam.

Anyway here is a short description how to make the best out of our foams. Setting things up:

Step 1:

After your order you will get your Foam Trays delivered. After you opened your package, you will get something like this:



The foams and bottoms for foams are seperated at delivery. This is indented, since this is the only way to allow the foams to be fitted specially for your figures.

Step 2 for standard Foams with 36 trays

Just press the perforated blocks out of the foam. Sounds easy? It is!



Step 3 for standard Foams for 36 trays

For 80 to 90 percent of your minitaures the trays fit perfect. Each slot tray is 2,50cm width and 5,00cm in height. The deep depends on the foam you choose (25mm, 30mm or 60mm). If a miniature is bigger then a normal tray, you can easily cut out some of the borders with a scissor. But normally you wouldn't need that.



Step 3 for rastered foams:

With our rastered foams its even easier to fit non standard miniatures, just remove as much blocks ...



... until your miniatures fit perfect. You don't need any tool to remove for the blocks, but you can use a hobby knife to make even smaller blocks and shapes.



Step 4 for both foam types:

The following working step is explained with a standard 36 tray foam. For our rastered foams it's done the same way.

As soon as you completed the above steps and you customized your foams as you needed them, just use some glue to add a bottom layer. Or if you ordered our self-adhesive foambottoms - just remove the protection and clue it on your tray foam - done!

And that is the only special tip we have: Order the self-adhesive foam trays - its so much easier to build your foams and you even safe the money for extra clue!

Now put your custom foames in your figurecase - and off to the next tournament!
